Definition: The sixth Sunday of Lent, one week before Easter Sunday.

The Last Sunday of Lent, the day Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, surrounded by cheering crowds.

Celebrated in different ways around the world:
Germans have a custom of giving every member of the family one brown egg from the Palmbase.
Welsh call Palm Sunday Flowering Sunday
Czechoslovakian children take pussy willow bouquets to be blessed in church.
Dutch children carry a branch or stick, shaped like a cross, decorated with nuts and small bread figures.

These are just some of many ways to celebrate.
