Kids can be a part of our production of "That's What Kids Do!", an original musical by Cathy Block, coming to the Bristol Riverside Theatre in Bristol, PA (USA) this October.
There will be a multi-media component to this production of "That's What Kids Do!" which will incorporate video clips submitted by kids to our site on YouTube (youtube.com/futureworldproject).
The YouTube Future World Project is based upon an element from "That's What Kids Do!". The characters are talking about and working on their Future World Projects throughout the show. Our goal is to incorporate Future World ideas from real kids into the live performances of "That's What Kids Do!" at the Bristol Riverside Theatre this October (2009).
The idea of the Future World Project is for kids, who are the leaders and inventors of tomorrow, to imagine and discuss what our world might be like in the future. It could be next year, or the next decade. We're just asking kids to think ahead, and invent their own future world and tell us about it in their own video clip.
Kids in grades K - 6 are invited to create and upload their own Future World Project video clips.
Each clip will be a short video of a child explaining and/or demonstrating their idea or prediction for the future. It should be in their own words. Of course, families may help create and upload the
videos.
