Plain White T's And Milk Rocks! Crown Allison Fahey Winner of the Latest "Be a Milk Rock Star" Contest

Fahey to Join Hit Rock Act Live on Stage at the Nokia Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX on November 12th

NEW YORK, NY (November 10, 2008) – Hit Hollywood Records rock act Plain White T’s and Milk Rocks! – the anti-obesity crusaders for ‘tweens and teens, have announced Vanguard High School senior Allison Fahey of Ocala, Florida as the grand prize winner of the latest “Be a Milk Rock Star” contest. This lucky fan was hand-picked by Plain White T’s themselves to receive a deluxe VIP backstage concert experience culminating in a live performance on stage with the band in front of a capacity crowd. The fledgling rock star will hit the stage with Plain White T’s at the Nokia Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas on November 12th, during the Rock Band Live tour. 17-year-old Fahey’s winning “audition” video can be viewed here.

The contest follows in the ultra-successful mode of the first "Be a Milk Rock Star" competition held in spring of 2008, when Emily Noxon, the grand prize winning fan had an unforgettable night, performing live with multi-platinum country superstars Rascal Flatts. The Milk Rocks! promotional program supporting that contest generated over one billion impressions on milk carton side panels and lunchroom posters.

Likewise, the Plain White T’s contest was promoted on more than 50 million milk cartons and 25,000 school lunchroom posters generating an equally astounding total of student impressions. Now Milk Rocks! and Plain White T’s are giving Alli Fahey that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity -- including the concert performance as well as a private meet-and-greet, plus a concert webcast, autographed posters and memorabilia from the band. The contest's other first prize winners will also receive concert tickets, meet-and-greet opportunities, and CDs and posters signed by the band.

Said Fahey, “I've been seeing the Plain White T's since 2004, and I'm a huge fan. To get the chance to sing on stage with my all-time favorite band is incredible. I'm really looking forward to it!”

"Alli proved to us that she has what it takes to be our honorary bandmate for a night," said Tom Higgenson of Plain White T's. "We checked out a lot of awesome videos from our fans, but she definitely caught our attention and rose to the top. We can’t wait to rock out with you, Alli!"

Fahey garnered enough votes to triumph over tough competition from other Plain White T’s fans. Each submitted their own karaoke-style versions of the band’s single “1, 2, 3, 4” for the Milk Rocks! contest, which was created as a fun, exciting and interactive way to promote health and fight obesity in school-age children. At the November 12th event, Plain White T’s will tape a message to fans touting the nutritional and bone-building benefits of milk, which will be featured online at www.milkrocks.com along with Fahey’s live concert debut.
