The tradition of Groundhog day began in the 18th century. It is said that if an animal sees its shadow on February 2 - there will be six more weeks of winter.

According to the Kids' Turn Central Poll, 3866 predicted six more weeks of winter! About 1968 people said SHADOW , 1898 said NO SHADOW! It was close!
