Update: April 29, 2009
After a very, very long winter in Northern Ontario it looks like most of our snow should be gone by this weekend. There's still some snow in the garden and the ground is both soaked, and still has frost. Will be weeks before we can plant.
In the meantime, we do have some plants started in the house: Beefsteak tomatoes, Cherry tomatoes, Straight Eight Cucumbers, and Tiny Tim tomatoes.
Our herbs include Parsley, chives, oregano and basil.
This year we will also be planting potatoes, peas, green onion, carrots, radish, peppers and our favorite flower - sunflowers!
Stay tuned for updates on when we will be planting!
